Course Cut-Off

Due to the road-closures and campus logistics of the Narragansett Summer Running Festival, all races have a strict cut-off to be on the course. Runners are asked not to sign up unless they can finish running and/or walking in the times below:

5k Race: 90 Minutes

10k Race:  90 Minutes

Half Marathon Race: 3.5 Hours

Festival Activities, Food and Beer Garden

Live Entertainment

Our festival is headlined by live and local music, right in the beer garden!

Beer Garden

The Narragansett Beer Garden opens right after the race!

Walk right into the beer garden and claim a couple ice cold 'Gansetts. Use the "beer" tear-off tags at the bottom of your bib to claim your beer. Please note that the beer garden will close at 11:30 AM. Only runners themselves are allowed to consume beer in the beer garden due to alcohol consumption restrictions imposed on us by the venue.  However, non-runners may join their friends/family in the beer garden socially.

Food

Included in your registration are some light post-race refreshments (Juice, snack bars, crackers, etc.)

If you are looking for some lunch, head on over to one of sponsors after the festival. The 99 Restaurant will be serving up some fresh grub for hungry runners!

Vendors/Exhibitors:

Plan to hang out a while and visit our vendors and sponsors! There are snacks, free give-a-ways and tons of cool stuff to check out.

Thanks to our friends at Cape Cod Ice for making sure our

finish line features the coldest beer in New England!

Restrooms

Portable restrooms will be provided behind Boland Hall this year, near the packet pickup area

on race morning. An additional few restrooms will be available on the half marathon course.

We are excited to offer pacers in our half marathon! We welcome the folks from the Beast Pacing network who will be helping half marathoner's achieve their goals! The pacer team consists of pacers for the following goal times: 1:40, 1:50, 2:00, 2:15, 2:30, 2:45, 3:00 and 3:30.

Look for Pacers holding signs marking their designated finish time, and hang with them to stay on pace.

Parking

Parking will be provided at Stonehill College. As you arrive on campus, follow the signage to "Runner Parking." For your reference, you may also view the campus layout map HERE in an effort to clarify your arrival.

Please note: Various parking lots on Stonehill College campus will be utilized to ease congestion as runners drive onto campus. Please be aware that different parking lots for the festival could be a short walk from the starting line or finish line. There will be signs guiding you the entire time, but please keep this in mind. Plan accordingly so that you don't find yourself having to travel back to your car until after the race, or give yourself enough time to travel back to your car if need be.

Spectators, Friends and Family

We encourage family and friends not running in the race to stay on campus for their own safety, the safety of the runners and all personnel involved. All three races will start and end on Stonehill College campus. Encourange them to hang out, listen to the music and cheer you on as you approach the finish! We do ask that runners and spectators leave their pets at home... Per request of the race venue, no dogs please.
